By late June, Peter was able to report a flight “of well over three quarters of an hour, at a maximum altitude of almost 75 feet” with the redesigned ornothopter. Given Peter’s Germanic tendancies, it is safe to assume that this information is accurate. Considerable luck was probably involved to produce the claimed times.
