This is a photography course for beginners, so no prior training is required, we teach from scratch, explaining everything in simple language that the unprepared listener can understand.

COURSE PLAN
Part 1: The express course of 4 sessions to master the functions of the camera.
Classes are held twice a week, lasting two weeks.

Over four sessions, you will be able to:
understand the settings of your camera;
Professionally adjust the camera to your photographic tasks;
Learn how to use lighting.
You will be able to strengthen the acquired knowledge by performing photo works both in the class and on your own by doing homework.
Part of the class is classroom-based, another part is field practice, where the theory is given during the class.
For each lesson topic, students have access to the theoretical materials of the course in electronic form.

Lesson 1: How does lighting affect a photographer’s capabilities?

Lesson 2: An on-site lesson on how to create photos with motion-blur and sharp effects in the frame.
At the lesson you will consolidate the knowledge and skills you have learned so far and learn how to create photos in shutter priority mode.

Lesson 3: Creating photographs with optical background blur effects.
You will master different types of focusing;
You will learn what the depth of field is and how to create images with different degrees of optical background blur and sharp pictures throughout the image.

Lesson 4: A field class on mastering manual control of photography parameters.
In this lesson, the instructor will tell you about the features of manual photography.

Lesson 5. Using artificial light sources in photography.
This lesson will focus on the use of embedded and external sources of artificial light (flashes) and continuous light.
The use of additional light sources will greatly extend your abilities as a photographer and help you get more interesting and professional photos.

Lesson 5.1. Online Debriefing of Homework in the Study Group Chat.

Now is the time when you need to pay special attention to the results you get.

Lesson 6: Fundamentals of Composition – Theory.

Lesson 7: Fundamentals of Composition-external practice.
This lesson will be entirely devoted to the application of the knowledge received in the previous lesson.

Lesson 7.1. Online parsing of photographic works in the Study Group Chat.
Here we will analyze the results of your work on the composition of the frame.

Lesson 8. Taking portraits in the open air.
This lesson will be all about plein air portrait photography.

Lesson 9. Home Studio Photography.
What is a home photo studio?

Lesson 10. Portrait photography in plein air using external light sources.
You have experience in taking portraits in the open air with natural light and experience in using lighting equipment.
It remains to combine this experience in this lesson and receive interesting photographic portraits.

Lesson 10.1. Online parsing of photographic works in the study group chat.
Here we will parse the results of your work from Lesson 10.

Lesson 11. Studio Portrait Photography.
By this time you’ll have acquired quite a lot of new knowledge and skills that can be applied to studio photography of various objects and people.
All that remains is to figure out how to work competently with lighting equipment.

Lesson 11.1 Online parsing of photographic assignments in the chat room of the study group.
We will necessarily analyze the results of studio photography in order to take into account all the nuances for the future so that your next studio shoot will be even more successful.

Lesson 12. Macro Photography or Macro Shooting.
Macro photography is a type of photography where small objects are depicted at 1:1 scale or at high magnification.
Skills in macrophotography, applied to photography:

insects, plants, flowers;
jewelry, small watches;
Any small objects, the details of which are difficult to discern with the naked eye;
in dentistry, cosmetology, etc;

Lesson 12.1 Online analysis of works on macro photography, in the chat of the study group.
As always, we’ll be sure to analyze the results of your work in class and work done independently.

Lesson 13. Basics of Object Photography.
Object photography is a genre of photography aiming to demonstrate external characteristics of an object such as its design, construction, and significant elements.

Lesson 14. Introduction to art photography.
Artistic photography is a field in which the creative vision and self-expression of the photographer comes to the fore.

Online Lesson 15. Photo Processing Lesson 1.
Modern digital photography does not do without processing.

Online lesson 16. Photo Processing Lesson 2.
In this lesson you will continue learning the basics of processing, using the example of portrait photos.
